Master data flows out of F&O to Shopify. Orders, customers and payment status flow back. Every record carries an ID from both systems so nothing is created twice.
F&O is built for multi-entity operations, and your sync must respect that
A typical store connector assumes one company, one warehouse and one price per product. F&O does not work that way. It has legal entities, sites and warehouses, product dimensions and trade agreements, and a sync that ignores them shows the wrong stock or the wrong price.
We map your real setup first, then build the integration around it.
What we plan around
- Which legal entity owns web orders
- Inventory by site and warehouse, not one global number
- Released products and their variants from product dimensions
- Trade agreement prices and customer groups
- Tax, charges and payment terms on the sales order
What moves, and in which direction
F&O to Shopify
- Released products and variants
- Sell prices and discounts
- Available stock by site and warehouse
- Shipment status and tracking numbers
Shopify to F&O
- Sales orders with lines, discounts and shipping charges
- Customers, matched or created
- Payment and tax details
- Refunds and returns
Rules we agree up front
- Which warehouses count as sellable
- How safety stock is held back
- What happens when a record fails to sync
- Who resolves unmatched SKUs

Talk to usFrequently asked questions
Can you integrate Shopify with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations?
Yes. F&O exposes data entities and service endpoints we can build against. We map your products, prices, stock and order flow first, then connect Shopify so both systems stay in agreement.
Will you build custom or use middleware?
Whichever is more reliable and cost-effective for your volume. Middleware is quicker to stand up for standard flows. A custom build usually wins when you have unusual pricing or high volume and want to avoid per-task fees. We recommend one after a short discovery call.
Can inventory be shown per warehouse?
Yes. We decide with you which sites and warehouses feed web availability, how much stock is held back, and how that maps to Shopify locations.
Does this work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. We work with standard Shopify and Shopify Plus, including B2B setups where customer-specific pricing matters.
What happens if an order fails to sync?
It goes into a queue, we get alerted, and it is retried or flagged for review. Orders are not dropped and they are not duplicated.
