One platform, two very different buyers
A consumer wants speed, good search and a short checkout. A B2B buyer wants their own prices, repeat ordering and an approval chain. BigCommerce can serve both. The build decides whether it actually does.
We build Stencil themes, headless storefronts, apps and API integrations. Most of our BigCommerce work is on stores that already exist.
What we build
- Custom Stencil themes built around your catalog
- Headless storefronts on BigCommerce APIs when it fits
- Custom apps, scripts and API integrations
- Core Web Vitals audits and fixes
- Retainer or pay-as-you-go support
Storefronts consumers actually finish checkout on
Conversion focused UX
Product, category and checkout pages designed and built around what moves consumer buyers to purchase, not around what looks good in a mockup.
Mobile-first builds
Built and tested on phones first, because that is where most B2C traffic lives.
Merchandising tools
Faceted search, related products and promotion logic configured to match your catalog.
Speed optimization
Image, script and theme performance work to protect conversion rate and SEO.
Headless when it earns it
A fully custom front end on BigCommerce's APIs, only when a standard theme can't do the job.
Buyer portals, price lists and quotes
Custom pricing tiers, quote workflows, buyer-specific catalogs and punchout: the B2B logic B2B Edition makes possible, configured for how your accounts buy.
Buyer portals
Company accounts, multiple buyer roles and approval workflows set up for how your customers really order.
Custom pricing and catalogs
Customer-group pricing, price lists and catalog visibility rules built into the storefront.
Quoting and RFQ
Quote request flows and sales-assisted ordering for accounts that need negotiated pricing.
ERP-aware integration
B2B storefronts wired into your ERP or CRM so pricing, inventory and orders stay in sync.
Punchout and procurement
Punchout and procurement-system integrations for buyers who order from inside their own tools.
Backorders and pre-orders
Approved buyers can order out-of-stock items against a clear backorder date.
CSV and quick-order upload
Bulk add-to-cart from a CSV or SKU and quantity list, for repeat orders.
EDI order channel
Large accounts can place orders the way their own systems already work.
Grid ordering
Order multiple sizes, colors or variants in one grid on the product page.
Sales rep logic
Reps log in as a customer, build the cart and place the order on their behalf.

Where your buyers need fewer steps, we remove them. Where your finance team needs more control, we add it.
B2B projects stall on rules, not code
B2B Edition gives you the building blocks. What slows a launch is rarely the setup. It is that nobody has decided how the business sells to wholesale accounts.
- 1
Who is eligible
What applicants submit, what qualifies a business for B2B pricing, and who approves or denies.
- 2
How prices are grouped
One tier can be enough. Some stores need prices and catalog access per customer segment from day one.
- 3
Minimums, terms and credit
Order minimums, ACH or financing, Net 30 or 60 terms and a credit limit per account.
- 4
Tax and shipping
Exemption certificates on file, what happens when one expires, and whether buyers can use their own carrier account.
We work through these with you before build starts, using your real accounts, not a generic default.
A BigCommerce redesign without the ranking hit
For stores that outgrew their template: audited, rebuilt in Stencil and SEO safe. Theme refreshes and targeted UX fixes are as common as full rebuilds.
Audited first
- Structure, content and analytics review
- Cart and checkout drop-off review
- B2B Edition setup carried over, not rebuilt
Rebuilt
- A custom Stencil theme, not a template tweak
- Navigation, product pages and checkout restructured
- Performance budgets for Core Web Vitals
Protected
- Complete redirect map from every old URL
- Catalog and CMS data mapped, never retyped
- Phased rollout if a full cutover is too risky
From audit to launch and beyond
- 01
Discovery and audit
We review your store, goals and constraints before writing a line of code. Our free audit is a good starting point.
- 02
Design and build
Theme and feature development in staging, with regular check-ins.
- 03
QA and launch
Cross-browser and cross-device testing, then a controlled go-live.
- 04
Support and iterate
Post-launch monitoring and a clear path for enhancements.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work on existing BigCommerce stores, not just new builds?
Yes. Most of our BigCommerce work is on existing stores: theme refreshes, app development, performance fixes and new features.
Can you customize the Stencil theme framework?
Yes. We build and modify Stencil themes directly, including custom components and checkout customizations within BigCommerce's supported extension points.
Do you build headless BigCommerce storefronts?
Yes, using BigCommerce's APIs with a modern front end framework when a fully custom experience is the right fit. If a Stencil theme will do the job, we'll say so.
Do you work with BigCommerce B2B Edition?
Yes, it is one of our core specialties: company accounts, buyer roles, quoting and custom pricing on B2B Edition.
Can you migrate our B2B pricing rules from another platform?
Yes. We regularly move complex pricing and account structures from Magento, legacy platforms or spreadsheets into B2B Edition. Our team has completed 40+ platform migrations with a 100% success rate.
Is punchout catalog support possible?
Yes. We've implemented punchout and procurement-system integrations for B2B buyers.
Do you integrate with ERPs like NetSuite or Dynamics 365?
Yes. We connect BigCommerce to ERPs and CRMs so pricing, inventory and orders stay in sync. See our ERP Integrations page, or ask us about your specific system.
What do we need to decide before a B2B launch?
Who qualifies for B2B pricing and what applicants submit, who approves them, what approved accounts can see and buy, order minimums, payment and credit terms, shipping options and tax exemption handling. We work through these with you before build.
How is B2B pricing and catalog access usually handled?
Most B2B stores hide list prices from the public and show pricing only to approved, logged-in accounts. We help you decide which products each approved customer can see and buy.
Do B2B buyers need a different ordering experience?
Often yes. Buyers ordering many sizes or SKUs need grid ordering or CSV and quick-order upload rather than one-at-a-time add-to-cart. We scope this with the core build.
Can you redesign our existing store instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. Theme refreshes and targeted UX and conversion improvements are common engagements, not just full rebuilds.
Can you redesign without disrupting B2B Edition?
Yes. Your B2B Edition configuration carries over as part of the redesign scope. It does not get rebuilt from scratch.
Will a redesign hurt our SEO?
Not if it is done right. We build a full redirect map from every existing URL to its new equivalent before launch, which is the biggest factor in protecting rankings.
Will the store be fast on mobile?
That is how we build it. Performance is part of the build from the start, and we test Core Web Vitals throughout, not once at the end.
How is pricing structured?
Most BigCommerce engagements run on our hourly plans, from $90/hr. See our Pricing page for the monthly agreement, retainer and pay-as-you-go options.
